Welcome to my website! I am an economist at the OECD, at the CFE (the Center for Entrepreneurship, SMEs, Regions and Cities).
I work on improving how public policy works in the interest of citizens. I focus on how institutions work in reality, so we can understand how to change them from the better.
I am a public economist at heart and I am generally interested in topics where the government has a strong role to play: (green) innovation, redistribution, procurement, taxation, development. In my academic work, from the revenue side, I studied taxation and how to ensure governments share tax burdens optimally. From the spending side, I studied procurement and how governments spend their money, but also how green innovation and can achieve a zero-carbon economy using efficient instruments.
