I study how governments work and try increase their efficiency, where possible: from the revenue side, I study taxation and how to ensure governments share tax burdens optimally. From the spending side, I study procurement and how governments spend their money.
Research interests: public economics ( taxation, especially optimal capital income taxation), public procurement, corruption, institutions.
